"Within ten minutes of talking with Kami on our first call, I felt like I had found a safe place to rest and remember some things I had lost along the way: why I homeschool, what my values and strengths are, and what my vision is. Kami has taught me how to truly see and work with my four children as individuals, how to create systems that serve me and my family, how to create change in doable ways, and overall how to feel more joy. I will be forever grateful that I found her and that she can be a guide during this season of my life."

"Kami Harris is the most prepared, experienced, and educated home school mentor I know. I took a 13-week course from her about teaching teens. The class was transformational! Each week she gave us handouts that contained information; the best of the best!! She taught me true concepts from at least 30 books that she has read. Being a master teacher she used stories, activities, simulations, games, and student involvement. She seriously helped me connect and understand teens. In addition to all this, Kami's common sense and wisdom make her someone I trust. I will never hesitate to seek her advice and help with the education of my child. There are few teachers on the planet that are as knowledgeable about homeschooling as Kami."

"I have been blessed to be mentored both informally and formally for many years by Kami Harris. She was a great friend and informal mentor as I navigated being a new homeschool mom, unsure about how to go about teaching my own children. Later on, I had the opportunity to take classes from her on mentoring and teaching older students academic skills and knowledge that will serve them throughout their lives. She is a treasure trove of knowledge and resources. She has many years of mentoring under her belt and has invested significantly in her own training and skills. It shows!! She knows just how to approach a situation, meet every student where they are at and help them grow. She also knows how to make the learning process really interactive, exciting, and intensive through simulations, activities, discussions, and inspired assignments. I have seen her inspire students with a wide variety of aptitudes and attitudes to take ownership and do the hard work of getting a great education, and now she is mentoring mentors on how to help kids do that. What a needed gift to the world!! I highly recommend Kami's coaching; whether you need it to be a better human yourself, inspire and lead kids to a great education, or just manage basic life as a homeschool parent, Kami can help you with her wisdom and caring compassionate heart."

"Where do I even begin? Kami continues to help me so much as I learn and grow as a homeschool mom. Not only is she full of wisdom and love but she has helped me come to realize how to better help my children on a daily basis as I teach them to be more responsible with different chore methods, improved ways to help my children learn, and she has helped me personally get to a place of creating a healthier, safe place for my kids to learn. I have learned how to be more organized and I am finding more joy along this homeschool journey. I leave each session empowered, ready, and able to move forward! Can’t wait until next time!"

"Kami is a WONDERFUL mentor! My daughter had her for two years. She mentored her in writing and speech. Hannah grew exponentially in her writing abilities. Her classes are engaging, with lots of hands-on opportunities for the kids to learn. Kami is a dedicated teacher. She took every opportunity to work with Hannah and was always available when she needed extra help with assignments. Of all the mentors my daughter has had, Kami exceeded them in her skill and patience with elevating hearts and minds."

"Kami Harris really cares about you, her client! I have felt so heard, understood, appreciated, and validated. Kami helped and is helping me work through a lot of mental roadblocks, building personal confidence, strengthening communication with my family members and others, and helping me to build strategies for future times when I need to rely on my immediate problem-solving abilities--like WHEN overwhelm comes THEN I will. . . meditate, seek to understand and validate the emotions I feel and release them, and then celebrate the time that I took to understand myself more. She helps me to analyze and understand the personal data that I have collected and choose future steps that I can take. With homeschooling, she has helped me see that gathering data on myself and my children is vital for a successful homeschooling experience--including allowing for flexibility in my scheduling, doing hard things and committing builds great life skills, and to break things into bite-sized chunks sometimes for maximum learning for all. I am full of gratitude for Kami and her understanding and desire to serve, understand, and help me in any area of my life that I come to her for help. Thank you, Kami!"

"Kami has the true heart of a mentor. I have learned so much from watching her get to know, love, and mentor youth. Her ability to see and understand the perspective of youth and lead them to understanding and confidence is powerful. Kami’s vast knowledge of learning tools and her experience mentoring youth is incredible. Taking her ‘Transformational Mentoring’ class was such a privilege and full experience. I was amazed at the amount of information she shared. This limitless resource of knowledge and tools truly impacted my ability to transform my lessons and mentoring. It gave me added inspiring ways to touch the lives of my students in many different ways. I am so grateful to Kami for her experiences on the road of life; she is sharing her understanding and expertise with all of us. Thank you Kami!"

"I took Kami's Transformational Mentoring class. Kami is so knowledgeable about what it takes to be a great mentor! She has a way of sharing information that is easy to understand and applicable in classroom settings and in the home with our families. I love being with youth and have taught many classes. But I always felt a little lacking in making my classes really impactful. Through Kami's mentoring class, she took us principle by principle to elevate our own ability to mentor those we have stewardship over. She guided us through discussions and provided simulations to help us really grasp the concepts. I feel that I now have the ability to mentor better than I did before I took Kami's class!"

"Kami's Transformational Mentoring class has not only changed my perspective on what true mentorship is, but she also models what it takes to be an exceptional mentor. Even though I've gone through her class, she continues to mentor me, offering insight, and sharing her wisdom. Kami demonstrates scholar skills and gives opportunities for practice and application. She is a wonderful resource."

"Over the past several years, Kami Harris has been a mentor for both me and my children. She has taught me how to write a scholar class using multiple teaching methods to capture the interest of my students. She has taught me the power of story and how to ask questions that really make the students think. My children love that Kami makes learning fun! Simulations, debates, games, and thought-provoking writing exercises awaken their minds and get them fully engaged in the learning process. When she works with the students one-on-one, Kami gives positive feedback - pointing out where they did well - as well as constructive criticism; she doesn't overwhelm them with an avalanche of problems to fix, but focuses on one or two areas of improvement at a time and works with them to help them succeed."

"I am so grateful I had the opportunity to participate in Kami’s mentoring program. She helped me come up with clear ideas on how to engage my students and take their thinking to the next level. She had so many activities, ideas, and book suggestions. I feel I have a wealth of resources to pull from. I loved the training so much that I repeated the class with my college-bound daughter to help boost her confidence in teaching. I wholeheartedly recommend Kami as a mentor and feel blessed to know her!"

"Kami has amazing mentoring skills and a great capacity to connect with and inspire greatness in young people. It was wonderful to see the growth and transformation that my daughter experienced in Kami’s class. I also highly recommend Kami’s Transformational Mentoring class. The principles I learned have had a positive impact on my mentoring and my mothering. Kami has a gift for meeting people where they are and helping them find the path to where they want to be!"

"Kami Harris is an excellent mentor who goes above and beyond. Taking this class has exceeded my expectations in every way. Kami shares multiple ways to accomplish classroom/mentoring goals, develop class content and has a variety of experiences to back up what she shares. She is an incredible example of what a mentor can be—generous, kind, caring, supportive, and passionate about what she teaches. Kami is educated, well-trained, knowledgeable, and full of wisdom. She lives what she teaches and is the real deal! Transformational mentoring is well worth the investment of time and effort. Kami has opened my perspective to the many ways I can apply these principles to my everyday life. Not only do I have the skills to become a better mentor but also, a better homeschooling mom."

"I recently had the opportunity to attend Kami’s transformational mentoring class, and it was definitely an enlightening and empowering experience. As someone with little to no experience in mentoring, I came away from the class with a better understanding of how to be a good mentor and how to incorporate the different scholar skills into the class I might be teaching. Kami did a great job modeling mentoring techniques and had lots of ideas on how to engage and inspire students in the learning process. She also had tips to help with problems that a mentor might face. Her expertise in mentoring was evident in the insights and strategies she shared. By the end of her class, Kami’s guidance had equipped me with the necessary tools to be able to implement my ideas and feel confident that I could actually mentor a class at our homeschool co-op."

"Knowing how to inspire and mentor has been a long-time goal of mine. I am so grateful for Kami’s class. She gave us so many powerful tools for transformational mentoring. She taught us how to create lesson plans, how to engage the learner in various ways, how to lead inspiring simulations, how to keep students excited about learning and so much more. I have been blown away by all the resources and things she taught. For the first time, I feel confident that I have the tools I need to put together a class for my students that will inspire them to live their life missions."

"I benefited a lot from Kami's Transformational Mentoring class. I gained practical ideas of how to put great mentoring skills into practice. She is a very inspiring mentor herself. Because of this class, I am looking forward to practicing what she has taught me in hopes of becoming an effective mentor for my children, grandchildren, and others."

"Kami Harris has been an integral part of our homeschool community. She has spoken at many of our conventions and has always been inspirational. She has mentored with love: children, teens, and parents. I consider Kami a dear friend, who has influenced a generation in moral authority, greatness, liberty, knowledge, and service. Her advice has been spot-on and helpful. You will be blessed for working with her."

"Patient, calm, loving, listener. These are all words that describe Kami Harris as a mentor. Transitioning into a scholar can be a challenge: pushing through previous limits, learning how to stick with hard things, and choosing to engage in learning when it is difficult to understand or sift through. Kami excels at mentoring youth through this transition to find their scholar groove! Kami is a thoughtful mentor who stretches and motivates each individual youth.
Kami has mentored two of my daughters as they began their scholar phases. Our younger daughter called Kami several times when she was trying to sift through information to form an opinion. Kami listened carefully and respectfully. She helped my daughter feel that this wrestle to learn was worth it! My older daughter was a slower, but willing reader. When others were quickly finishing assigned books, my daughter became discouraged. I have seen other teachers and mentors either dismiss the assignment altogether or tell a child that they didn’t get it done and should just move on. Kami saw the need to help her stay motivated and progress towards the goal. Kami checked in with my daughter frequently and helped her set realistic deadlines. She was able to finish all the assignments for the class!
Kami is very prepared. She learns about both her subject matter and her individual students. She understands different learning styles and caters to the individuals she is teaching. Her goal is not to teach curriculum, but rather to teach students. No matter how many times she has mentored a class, she reviews and researches to create opportunities that match her current student population. In her preparation, she carefully considers the skills that the students will need to be successful in her class and works to teach those along with the curriculum. For example, seeing a lack in the skills of writing, she allowed students to come 30 minutes early before each class for mentoring in writing so that they could be more capable of meeting the goals of the class!
Kami Harris is one of the mentors that still gets talked about by my now-adult children. Her influence at a critical point in their lives contributed to them becoming successful learners and thinkers! Thank you, Kami!"

"Homeschooling Leadership and Kami Harris go hand in hand. Whether it is initiating a cooperative school, presenting a mom school, or leading an entire homeschooling community, Kami has been, and currently still is, behind the wheel. Not only is she good with the organizational aspect, she is especially good at connecting with the individual students and parents alike. My children felt their contributions - whether in classroom discussions, problem-solving simulations, or written papers – were valued and heard. Her feedback was always appreciative and encouraging. Her style provides an emotionally safe place so that challenging tasks produce growth rather than a stumbling block. In her classes where I’ve been the student, I was greatly impressed with her thoroughness at providing background information, and building an idea so that I felt I had a complete understanding of what was being presented. From one grateful momma to another, Kami gets my thumbs up."

"A mentor is someone who sees more talent and ability within you, than you see in yourself, and helps bring it out of you." This quote by Bob Proctor paints a picture of who Kami Harris is as a mentor. She has eyes that see greatness and the heart and mind to help those she mentors to both see it within themselves and put in the hard work to bring that vision to fruition.
I’ve had the privilege of having our four children be mentored throughout their teenage years by Kami in a variety of classes. She has helped them grow in their scholar skills of writing, speaking, reading, and discussing, their knowledge of this world, their understanding of true principles, and most importantly, their vision of themselves and what they can do with their lives.
I’ve also had the beautiful opportunity to take classes from her myself. She has helped me become a better mentor! In her classes and coaching, she lives the principles she is teaching. She models how to listen to students by doing it herself. She asks inspired questions that motivate one to seek for the answer. She knows when to push and when to comfort and somehow often does both simultaneously which leads to huge increases in both courage and growth.
Kami understands the process of learning and specializes in helping others understand it and implement it into their own and their children’s lives. I highly recommend her services and cannot thank her enough for the time, heart, and expertise she has provided our family of learners!"

"Kami has helped me so much through her thoughtful coaching style. I have especially appreciated her ability to ask insightful questions to help me clarify what is going on in my head. I have had several breakthroughs on how to move forward in areas of my life where I felt stuck before meeting with Kami. She is the perfect blend of compassion for where I currently am and curiosity about how I can see things with a fresh perspective."

"Kami is such a light! She is so good with teenagers. My kids really loved learning from her and with her. She is knowledgeable and patient and asks thought-provoking questions. She guides the students to draw their own conclusions and her perspectives are fair and balanced and kind. Anyone lucky enough to work with her or learn from her should be so grateful. We certainly are!"

"Kami truly has a gift to nurture and lovingly mentor individuals of all ages. She is able to really see her students' potential and cast a vision for them, guiding their progress and helping them to believe in themselves and see more clearly who they are meant to be.
I've had the privilege of being mentored by Kami in a variety of settings over the last several years. Every class she teaches is always very organized, thoroughly prepared, and beautifully executed. These traits along with her vast experience and ongoing personal study allow her to follow the needs of her students with a lovely flexibility.
Kami has undoubtedly helped me become a better mentor, mother, and human being. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking personal improvement or who desires to increase their ability to mentor and influence others for good."

"Kami has blessed my family's lives in so many innumerable ways. My children and I have had the opportunity to be mentored directly by Kami. She has an amazing gift to meet her students where they are while inspiring them to reach higher, think deeper, and break through any limiting beliefs they may have had. She has the ability to see their own genius, talents, and abilities and encourages her students to see them too. She is a wealth of knowledge and also truly loves those she mentors. She mentors in a way that is inspirational and transformative. Kami has truly blessed my family's lives and we are so grateful for all she has done."

"I wholeheartedly recommend Kami! 10 stars! Kami loves to teach and mentor! She homeschooled her children and also mentored dozens more. She has a degree in education and also continues to educate herself in leadership education. Kami is invested in her students and has tons of experience working with all ages and many learning abilities. My children have taken classes from her and absolutely loved her as their teacher. Kami has spent many years helping parents learn how to homeschool their children. Her experience is deep and wide. I can’t say enough about Kami! She is awesome!!!"

"My daughter Jena had the privilege of being mentored by Kami in high school. Not only did Jena learn to write due to Kami’s skills and expertise, she learned what it was like to feel loved and known by a mentor who understood how to walk with her on her unique path. Kami remains one of Jena’s favorite teachers. I can’t recommend her enough."
Liz Simmons
"Kami is a heart mentor. She has a soft way of reaching out and inspiring you to go deeper inside to pull out something more rich and meaningful. The classes that we have taken from her have left lasting impressions and changes in our hearts, mind, and the way we look at things and approach learning and mentoring. I had a teenage daughter who didn't understand the point of memorizing things, and she just will not do things if she doesn't see the purpose behind it. Kami's gentle and wise explanation touched both our hearts, my daughter ended up memorizing all the suggested quotes and has often spoken of how she's returned to those quotes in times of hardship and has drawn strength from them. When you are around Kami you just feel her love for others, her love for the truths she is teaching, and that love changes you."

"Kami Harris has been a youth mentor for many years. My son had the privilege of being one of her mentees. It was a lot of personal hard work for him that was required but I never heard one complaint. Kami made it seem so important to learn and grow it was easy for him to accomplish his goals. He has much reverence for our country and many years after the class still has the Declaration of Independence hanging on the wall in his room. I can only teach so much as a parent so it is always so great to have a mentor to back up the teachings. I would never hesitate to have any of my children be mentored by Kami and I would recommend any class she teaches. She would never teach something she is not passionate about and the best way to find a good mentor is to find one with passion for the subject. You will always find that with Kami!"
Torrie Miller
"My daughter has had the privilege of being in several of Kami’s classes. When she started, she was very shy and lacked confidence in her academic abilities. Under Kami’s mentorship, she learned to think deeply to form and express opinions and ideas, came to love writing, and developed a life-long love of history and reading. She has gone on to take several more enrichment classes in writing and history as a direct result of Kami’s influence. Her skill in communicating love and care while meeting students where they are and guiding them to excellence makes Kami a mentoring rock star! In my own experience with her mentoring classes, she has been inspirational and has shown her passion for mentor skills through her deep study, dedication, and real-world experience. I have gained so many valuable skills for mentoring my own youth and classes from her, and absolutely recommend Kami as a mentor and coach."
Amy Orme
"Kami is unique in her ability to mentor both youth and those who desire to be more effective in their own youth mentoring skills. Her passion for effective communication means she works tirelessly to ensure a concept is fully understood before moving on so no one feels forgotten. Kami truly enjoys the learning process and is, herself, a lifelong student. This teachability allows Kami to celebrate the strengths that others bring to the table and keeps her fearless in opening herself up to fresh ideas. Kami draws upon a deep conviction that all voices have value, which underscores each component of her coaching. From a practical perspective, Kami’s coaching will either introduce or hone skills integral to connecting with a student’s heart; developing a clear vision for your mentoring goals; balancing dynamics within a classroom setting; understanding learning phases and how to gear your content to each phase; and finding joy in the process. I cannot overstate the value Kami’s coaching will bring to anyone interested in speaking into the lives of our next generation."

"Kami is great at figuring out where you are and helping you get to where you want to be. Three of my children have had the privilege of being mentored by her and benefited from her ability to patiently personalize things, help them feel comfortable, and keep things well laid out. Each one of them became more confident and learned so much! She is very resourceful, and having been mentored herself, she brings all of that knowledge and wisdom to her classes. She has spent years working through and applying the principles and is ready to help shorten the learning curve for you. I took her Transformational Mentoring class and it was informative and inspiring. Kami goes above and beyond to provide great content and help you figure out how to move forward with your goals. I definitely recommend taking the opportunity to learn from her!"
