About Kami

From Overwhelmed Mom to Confident Mentor

Now I help other Christian homeschool moms find the clarity, peace and joy they were made for.

Hi, I'm Coach Kami Harris

Homeschool mom of four, wife to my best friend, Grammy and a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Like many LDS Christian moms, I started homeschooling because I felt something wasn’t right.

After watching the light go out of my daughter’s eyes in public school, I knew there had to be a better way. I didn’t feel “ready” or “qualified,” but I felt called. And so I began.
That first year? It was hard. I tried to replicate the public school model because it was all I knew. It left me and my kids exhausted and discouraged.

But I was determined not to give up. I became a student of homeschool. I read. I asked questions. I mentored with wise homeschoolers. I experimented, adapted and learned. And over time, I found what actually works.

Not just academically but emotionally, spiritually and practically.

Coaching Came Through My Own Storm

In 2018, my life hit a breaking point. I was doing everything “right,” but I still felt depleted. That’s when I discovered life coaching—and it changed everything.

I finally understood how my thoughts were shaping my homeschool, my emotions and my relationships. I learned how to release shame, rewire self-doubt and move forward with faith and resilience.

That transformation led me to become a certified coach through The Life Coach School and Creation Coach School. I now combine those powerful mindset tools with my 20+ years of homeschooling experience to support other homeschool mamas just like you.
