About Kami

From Pressure to Peace

Now I help faith-filled men and women move from striving and self-criticism into Christ-centered regulation, clarity and steady confidence.

Hi, I'm Coach Kami Harris

Wife to my best friend, mom of four, Grammy, and a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I help Latter-day Saint men and women who look capable on the outside—but feel driven by pressure, striving, and nervous system overload on the inside.

If you’re a high achiever with perfectionistic or people-pleasing tendencies, who’s tired of pushing yourself through life with willpower, you’re in the right place.

My work is Christ-centered nervous system + mindset coaching for those who are ready to move from pressured performing to rested becoming—so you can lead, serve, and create from regulation, rest, and quiet confidence in Jesus Christ.

When Capability Wasn’t the Same as Peace

For a long time, I didn’t realize I was living from strain.

I was responsible. Dutiful. Productive. Helpful.
I could carry a lot—and I did.

And underneath it all, there was this constant internal energy:
Try harder. Don’t disappoint. Stay on top of it. Keep it together.

It wasn’t always loud. Sometimes it just felt like tightness.
A low-grade urgency. A subtle fear of falling short.

Like many Latter-day Saints, I wanted to do what was right—to magnify my roles, serve well, and measure up to high expectations.

But slowly, that “good” desire started being fueled by something else:
pressure, self-doubt, and the feeling that I was never quite done.

Coaching Came Through My Own Storm

I’ve navigated chronic health challenges for over 30 years. For a long time, I could still “function” by staying capable, responsible, and pushing through.

But in 2018, when my husband stepped away from the Church, the stress and grief brought me to a breaking point—and I could no longer carry my life through pressure. My body and my mind were both telling the truth: the way I was living wasn’t sustainable.

That’s when I discovered life coaching, and it changed everything. I began to see how my thoughts were shaping my emotions, my capacity, and the way I showed up in my relationships. I started releasing shame, unwinding perfectionism, and rebuilding trust in myself.

And as my work deepened, I learned something that explained so much:

What I Do Now (and Who It’s For)

Today, I help high-achieving Latter-day Saints shift the power source behind their lives.

Not by quitting responsibilities.
Not by lowering standards.
But by learning to lead from a regulated, anchored place—where your soul can breathe again.

I blend Christ-centered mindset coaching with nervous system resilience tools so you can:

A few things I’ve done along the way:

If you’re tired of striving your way through your life, your service, or your relationships—and you’re ready to experience what it feels like to live from rested becoming
